With the NFL hitting the middle of the season, there are players who are shining and others who are disappointing.

While some players can improve, others have a 2022 that will continue to disappoint.

There are two NFL players who are having a disappointing season that stand out among all other NFL players.

So who are these two players, and why are they so disappointing this season?

2. Leonard Fournette

Leonard Fournette came to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers with two seasons of 1,000+ rushing yards.

However, in his sixth year in the NFL, and third with the Bucs, he’s off to a horrible start this season.

In eight games, he’s got 112 carries for 386 yards, putting him at 3.4 yards per carry.

This is his lowest since his 3.3 YPC in 2018 with the Jacksonville Jaguars, when his season was cut short by injuries.

The Buccaneers need a running game this season, as they are at the bottom of the NFL in rushing.

1. Aaron Rodgers

Aaron Rodgers, who is the reigning NFL MVP, isn’t looking MVP-like in 2022.

Without Davante Adams on the roster, Rodgers is relying on two rookie receivers and two veteran receivers this season.

However, these receivers are leading Rodgers into a disappointing year with the Green Bay Packers.

The Adams effect has hurt him with throwing deep this season.

Without a deep threat, Rodgers is relying on making short passes instead.

It’s led him to have four interceptions already this season.

With his passing yards at 1,800 for the season, he’s set to have his worst full season since 2015 in passing statistics.
