It’s the dawn of a new era for the Baltimore Ravens.
Yes, Lamar Jackson has been around for quite a while now, but it’s the first time he’ll have a solid receiving corps at his disposal.
That’s why the 26-year-old looked ecstatic to work with his new-look offense, telling the media that he feels like throwing for 6,000 yards next season.

The biggest knock on Jackson’s game has always been the passing game.
He wasn’t the most willing or accurate passer — especially downhill — when he first entered the league, but he’s made great strides ever since.
Jackson shut down all the outside noise and criticism and didn’t care for those doubters who called him a running back or urged him to switch positions.
He’s got a strong, solid arm and will now have two elite weapons in Odell Beckham Jr. and rookie Zay Flowers.
The Ravens were quite high on Flowers since mid-way through his senior season at Boston College.
And while his size — or lack thereof — was a concern for some teams, he’s got the potential to be a perennial big-play threat out of the slot at the next level.
As for OBJ, he’s an established, proven, and bonafide player, so the only question will be whether he can stay healthy throughout the course of a full season after enduring so many injuries.
Whatever the case, the table is set for Jackson to have his best season yet.
