The Houston Astros just won the 2022 World Series in spectacular fashion, aided by a 450-ft home run by Yordan Alvarez in Game 6 that gave them a 3-1 advantage they never relinquished.
That game finished with a 4-1 score and meant the Astros took the Fall Classic four games to two against the tough Philadelphia Phillies.
The Astros were the best team in the American League with 106 wins in the regular season; and were the most consistent squad in the playoffs having won 11 of the 13 games they played.
Yet, according to FOX Bet Live, another team has better odds to win the 2023 World Series than Houston, and it’s the Los Angeles Dodgers.

FOX Bet Live calculated the Dodgers’ odds of winning it all at +500.
The Astros are a close second at +650, and the New York Yankees came in third at +800, the same number as the Atlanta Braves.
The Dodgers Are Favored To Win In 2023
The Dodgers have an incredible roster and a successful model, but that didn’t help them get out of the first round of the 2022 playoffs.
They lost the Division Series to the San Diego Padres, to the surprise of many.
The Astros, meanwhile, had their fair share of scares along the way, mostly against the Seattle Mariners and the Phillies.
Yet, there were able to overcome all obstacles and take home their second Fall Classic.
LA will have a premium opportunity to leave behind the tough 2022 postseason next year, and oddsmakers love their chances to retake the title they haven’t won since 2020.
They have some crucial free agents to retain, most notably Trea Turner and Clayton Kershaw, but they always find a way to dominate the NL West and qualify to October.
