A couple of months ago, if you would have told an NBA fan that the Brooklyn Nets would decimate the Golden State Warriors at any point this season, they probably would have laughed at you.

But things have changed a lot for both teams since the start of the season and the Nets are currently surging as the Warriors – the reigning NBA champions – are floundering.

This all was on display Wednesday night as the Nets absolutely wiped the floor with the Warriors.

Some NBA fans couldn’t believe their eyes as they saw the Nets score 91 points over the Warriors in the first half of the game.

When halftime rolled around, Kevin Durant and his guys were at 91 while the Warriors were sitting at 51.

This was a franchise record for the Nets and an explosive showing of their power and just how good they have become over the last month.

It was also yet another embarrassing moment for the Warriors.

Brooklyn Bounced Back

Believe it or not, the Nets have now won 7 games in a row – a feat that seemed all but impossible when the season started back in October.

The team is 11-1 for the last 12 and is now 20-12 even though many games have been missed by both Kyrie Irving and Ben Simmons.

When the final whistle blew on Wednesday night, the Nets walked away with a 143-113 victory, coasting their way to an easy victory over the Warriors.

The team is sharing the ball well, taking direction excellently, improving on both ends of the court, and allowing Durant to have yet another MVP season.

They’re not the best team in the East but there are more than a few people who could see them foreseeably climb even higher in the standings if they keep playing like this.
