The Golden State Warriors are one of the most talented teams in the NBA, and they’ll almost certainly be in the title conversation throughout the entire 2022-23 campaign.
However, they’ve stumbled out of the gate, as they’re 3-5 this season and have lost three consecutive games.
Notably, the majority of Golden State’s losses have had something in common: They’ve come on the road.
The Warriors are 3-1 at home this season, and they’re 0-4 in away games.
The Warriors still have not won on the road yet this year

That’s a trend that’s going to need to come to an end in order for the Warriors to get rolling this season.
Winless On The Road
It’s pretty uncharacteristic of the Warriors to struggle on the road.
Last season, they put together an impressive record of 22-19 in away games.
What’s even more puzzling is that some of their road losses this season have come against underwhelming opponents, like the Charlotte Hornets and Detroit Pistons.
But it’s certainly important to remember that the season is young, and there’s a chance Golden State’s road woes won’t even be a storyline a few days from now.
That’s because the team has a chance on Thursday to earn its first road win of the season (against the Orlando Magic), and if the Warriors win that game, they’ll have a shot to earn a second consecutive road win on Friday (against the New Orleans Pelicans).
Golden State would love to win both matchups, get back to .500 on the season, and prove to the league that the squad’s road struggles were just an early-season fluke.
