The World Series is complete, and the Houston Astros have emerged victorious for the second time in the last six years.
Houston defeated the Philadelphia Phillies in six games to capture their second crown.
Yesterday, the City of Houston got a chance to celebrate with their World Series Champions during the parade.
Players and their families got to enjoy the atmosphere and soak up the moment with the whole City of Houston and the entire Astros fanbase cheering them on.
Yuli Gurriel took to Twitter to express his gratitude towards his family, sharing a wholesome message and posting a picture of himself holding the trophy with his wife and kids by his side.
Our greatest strength are our supportive Championship families, they deal with a lot, to make it easier for us to perform! Here’s the other half of my pineapple plus 2 small chunks🍍🍍🍍❤️#Familia🙏🏽 pic.twitter.com/9wHtNYw4tg

Gurriel Praises His Family
As Gurriel alluded to, winning a championship takes a ton of support.
Not only does it take a team with everybody playing for the same thing, but it also takes support from the outside.
Here, Gurriel expressed his gratitude for his family and what they mean to him, praising them for their constant love and support and explaining how they help take some of the pressure off and make it easier to perform.
It may be Gurriel’s last parade with the Astros, as he is a free agent, but if it is, he got to experience another great ride with his teammates and his family supporting him all throughout.
And the children look very happy to see their dad holding the World Series trophy.
This is even bigger than baseball and it’s exactly the wholesome content that we need in sports.
